To the Wall Guard,
I would like to apply to the Wall Guard. About two months ago I lost my father. I still have not fully recovered from my loss. My grandfather, Hongou, has suggested I get away for a while. Do something meaningful while distracting myself. My mother agreed, on one condition. If I was not farther than three days travel. You see, I am an only child and I am all she has left. If you would recruit me, I am in agreement as well, with distracting myself. If you would take me up to train as a guard, I would be grateful for the work! I look forward to your response.
